Kibar Americas is the wholly-owned US subsidiary of Assan Alüminyum, one of the leading manufacturers in the flat-rolled aluminum (FRP) industry with an installed annual capacity reaching up to 800M pounds. The company manufactures pre-painted aluminum coil and sheet products in its production facilities located in Istanbul, Turkey. Offering its pre-painted aluminum coil and sheet products to a variety of sectors, such as building and construction including; roofing, composite panel, rain ware, façade, roller shutters, distribution, transportation, and consumer durables. In addition, the company also produces mill finish coil and sheet and foil for packaging, consumer durables, automotive and HVAC. The company was established in 1988 as a subsidiary of Kibar Holding.

Assan Alüminyum’s paint line began production in 2013 with 130K pounds of liquid pre-painting capacity and with an integrated leveling unit at the end of the painting process. It is one of the most modern paint lines in Europe, operating in line with global sustainability principles.

The regenerative solvent burning system allows for reduced carbon emissions, while the energy could also be reused by feeding the combustion air back into the furnaces. In addition to our sustainability-oriented activities, Assan Alüminyum’s pre-painting facility also differentiates itself as it is one of the very few lines in the world that is able to coat coils up to 0.12” thickness. The paint line is capable of pre-painting as-rolled aluminum products between the thicknesses of 0.008” – 0.12”. The line has an air pre-cooling system at the furnaces, allowing it to minimize the risk of material deformations. It has a dedicated slitting line which offers different width solutions up to 62”.
